social media marketing is insignificant in the big scheme of things. no one benefits from it. people benefit from music, movies, tv other creative things. but i’ve decided I could not care less about marketing when it doesn’t work for a good cause.
social media marketing is just a way of annoying people until they give in and buy your product

Even as a kid, I would make my parents drive around the neighborhood before a birthday party so I wasn’t the first one. Close friend, mere acquaintance, didn’t matter. I didn’t like being first. Maybe that’s why I always wished that there had been older siblings in my family, someone who came first, led the charge, and told me what to expect in life. Maybe the lack of older siblings is the reason why I don’t like jumping into something first, when I don’t know what to expect. Maybe my insecurities when it comes to awkward situations are all rooted in being the oldest child and not knowing what the future holds. Maybe I just don’t like waiting for the others to show up

so, in my good spirits, i present you with the masterful Eric Hutchinson and “Best Days,” (which I’m hoping describes today) off his new album Moving Up Living Down. This sophomore effort is definitely a more mature and soulful venture from Eric, who is hands down one of my favorite artists because of his music, of course, but also because he just feels like he’s already your best friend. See him live and you’ll see exactly what I’m talking about.
